More About Cleartrip - History, Inception, Founders, Investors
Stuart Crighton, along with co-founders Hrush Bhatt and Matthew Spacie, founded Cleartrip in the year 2006 to offer its users the single most comprehensive travel experience. The travel and leisure company has its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As of May 2022, Cleartrip has raised a total of $56.4 Million funding amount from as many as six investors, including Sherpalo Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, DAG Ventures, SAP Concur, Lightbox, and Gund Investment, LLC.
In the year 2018, Cleartrip acquired a Saudi Arabia-based online travel agency, named Flyin.com. The company had also invested AUD 450,000 in the Australia-based Rome2rio in the year 2012.
